Before we left in 86, I was tasked with organising a reunion in the future. I tried a few years ago but because it was hard for me to organise (I am abroad a great deal) it never happened. However I have quite a lot of information about the whereabouts of many of the class of 86 & 84 and if anyone is interested in taking over and trying to get a reunion off the ground, it would be worth contacting me first and I can probably supply you with much useful information.

I was wondering if anyone else remembers the incident of Graham (Stowell)'s trousers? I do, it was on one of those awful days when we were all supposed do the house cross country run and everyone was angling to get a sick note from somewhere. Anyway Billy D (Mr Dieghton) had everyone down in the big changing room for one of his "Gentlemen….." speeches. I was late and changing in the upper room so he couldn't see me but everyone else could see me behind his head. I was almost ready to go when Matt Edmonds who was late (due to trying to get a sicknote from san) turned up. With his usual flair for practical jokes he decided to steal Graham Stowell's trousers from the hook next to mine and hide them somewhere before getting changed. As Graham's friend I made an attempt to stop him but only managed to grab one leg of the garment and thus we struggled each pulling on one end. This behaviour in full view of all upper five and six form was starting to raise some muted tittering. Billy finally twigged when a loud rending noise was heard and Graham's trousers tore apart at the crotch; Edmonds had the presence of mind to drop his half and walk forward with his bag saying "sorry I'm late Sir" like he'd just arrived. So I was left holding the remains of half of Graham's trousers. Billy went purple and screamed at me for a good 5 minutes everyone else especially Edmonds obviously found this hilarious except for Graham who was staring in anguish at his severed garment. None of the masters had seen what happened and the others lads were too amused at my predicament or scared of Billy in a rage to pitch in for me. I remember then being made to run round the Cross country course 3 times without any shoes on as punishment it really hurt and I never did get Matt Edmonds back... The Grimmonds may wait but he never forgets

Well, as many of you know, I've made a hard choice of late. Many of my friends have known for a while admittedly, but i felt that as an Old Freeman, (indeed a proud Old Freeman) i felt this little service could do my choice proud. Indeed I allude to my recent 'outing' as the media loves to call it. I feel it runs a little deeper than that and indeed is a part of my make-up.I would like to take the opportunity to apologise to anyone who may be upset with my sexual orientation, but i have no shame.I would like to thank you for your understanding, especially the OFA,Regards,James Adamson.

Is the Matty Symonds/Grimmonds the same individual who was brutally attacked in Ashtead Park last month and had his buttocks frozen with liquid nitrogen and then shattered with a hammer?

Yes I can confirm that the individual so viciously attacked is the same Matty Grimmonds,This kind of blantantly homophobic attack has got to stop I here the family involved has further been terrorized by the youths involved who have started to take pot shots at them with an air gun...PS my dear friend Joel Codling is having his wedding soon does anyone have contact details for old freemens band Disinfectant? I was only there for a year, but some of you may remember me. I recall people like Richard Evans, Todd, Westbrooke, Atkinson, Nicky Dickinson and one or two of the teachers. An odd period in my life, resurrected when I ran into a touring rugby team in Dorset a few years ago. Hope you are all doing well. I travelled for quite a few years and now live in Devon and teach English as a foreign language. Funny old life, isn't it.

Hello - Archie. Directed me here. You all remember. Archie. Maybe you don't. Remember me. But we. Are both. Gingers. Sandy Robson, I don't remember you, but I do remember Amee Patel. She was lovely, I wish I'd actually talked to her when I was there. Sorry, cannot help, even if I could I wouldn't be dishing out her digits to other fellas. James Adamson, you were always such a cassanova, the only people to be upset will be the ladies. If I was gay, I'd be the first in line to give you one. What you up to anyway? - sir_runrun_shaw@yahoo.com (Amee, feel free to drop me a line as well). Symonds, it is with a sensation of disbelief that I read your message. This is not the only incident concerning the trouser of Stowell. After games one day, I thought it amusing to hide his trousers (can't remember if Glyn was involved, but most probably) behind a big blackboard that was propped up. I think somebody must have grassed, cause he came straight to me with his dad at 4 o'clock (wearing some lovely cricket flannels). I denied everything as I always did and was summoned to Jimmy the next day, who asked me "what size waist are you, Ross?" 32 was the reply (still am, ladies). "32?!, that's very large for a lad your age" He was being very nice for some reason and simply sent me down to hunt for the garment, which I miraculously found. Sorry Graham mate, I could be a right bastard in those days, I'm very well balanced these days. By the by, my name is now Lupin Pooter. n.b., if you would.

Initially, you would find it simple to dismiss Rossi's love of punctuation, and a purely genetic analysis may turn the Freudian tide to something I could play along with. After all, where there's muck, there's usually quadrupeds to blame. If you believe all the hype, that is. In the event, there've been an unnatural number of freeman musicians going up to Oxford. I should mention the broadly experienced Kari (as opposed to Kerry), the softly spoken Cleasby (now at Corplus Christiam), the dyadic Louise (finals), the very tall Ms Evans (recorder and cymbals) and the beautiful Ms Cumbo (hildababe). So often had your mother, Eleanor, crissed and crossed her legs in front of my unseeing eyes that I have an encyclopaedic knowledge of her dress-makers shelves. Even the one's that so diminutive a didact could never reach. "Foma!", I hear you cry... "Mine's a large one!", you hear me reply. It struck me, and to continue my metaphor, that there's only a singleton teacher building congruent surfaces in the sky behind the bicycle sheds these days, and that's good old Jeem Arthur. Possibly the stoutest of maths teachers for many of us. Confirmed smoker. Aide to the down at heart. Wit. Warble. When. Work. Wisdom. I'd enjoyed a smoke with him in the Lower Ashtead public house, familiar terrain to a villager, he told me of the diaspora but paraphrased... "Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before," Bokonon tells us. "He is full of murderous resentment of people who are ignorant without having come by their ignorance the hard way." - Kurt Vonnegut. Think about it, gentlemen, and don't be getting ants in your pants, ladies. ;|
